West Elm and Pottery Barn outlets North GA

AUGUST 2025

Tucked just an hour north of the city, deep in Dawsonville (yes, racecar country), lies a secret that every chic Southern home deserves to know: the Pottery Barn and West Elm outlets.

This isn’t your mama’s outlet — it’s designer on discount, mood board come to life, mid-century modern dreams at up to 70% off. Think: velvet sectionals you’d normally cry over the price tag for, $2,000 beds for under $600, handwoven rugs, dreamy lighting, reclaimed wood everything. It’s giving HGTV on a budget — but make it sexy.

Whether you’re decorating your first apartment, your spellwork altar, or just impulse shopping to cope (hey, we see you), this spot hits. Bonus? They get new shipments weekly, and the treasure hunt energy is strong. Some days are a bust. Some days you walk out with a seven-foot mirror and a sense of spiritual rebirth.

Pro tip: Get there early on weekends, wear comfy shoes, and bring a TRUCK— or at least a friend with a truck. Manifest your dream space and haul it back to ATL like a queen. My 3K sectional was $102.78!!!!

🛋️ Wayfair Outlet Augusta — Discount Design Meets Deep South Vibes

SEPTEMBER 2025

Just ~2.5 hours from Atlanta, the Wayfair Outlet in Augusta is a must‑hit for bargain hunters and design lovers alike. Located at 242 Robert C. Daniel Jr. Parkway, Augusta, GA 30909, this store is packed with overstocked and slightly blemished furniture and decor at steep discounts off Wayfair’s usual prices.

Store hours are shopper‑friendly:

Sunday: 11 AM to 7 PM

You’ll find ample parking and curb‑side pickup assistance, but be ready to bring your own truck—staff won’t load the furniture for you.

Mon–Sat: 10 AM to 8 PM

The Where, the Why, the Who?

🌆 That’s So Local — And So Am I

Welcome to That’s So Local, baby.

This little corner of the internet is my ode to Atlanta and all the beautiful, gritty, witchy, soulful mess it is. It’s not just a city — it’s a frequency. A vibration. A pulsing, sweaty, over-saged timeline shift where you can find trap beats and tarot cards on the same block if you look hard enough.

I made this space for the locals. The real ones. The ones who were born here, raised here, or just had their third eye cracked open in a Little Five Points vintage shop and never left. I made it for the folks who keep this city alive — the artists, the aunties, the waitresses who moonlight as poets, the girls who set up altars in studio apartments, and the ones who know which gas station sells the best tacos.

Why I Started This

Because I was tired of sterile lists and touristy shit. Because Yelp doesn’t understand Southern charm or backdoor energy. Because I wanted a place where I could say things like:

  • “The vibes in this café are immaculate, bring your journal and your ancestral trauma.”
  • “There’s a spell circle forming in East Atlanta, but it’s invite-only and run by two ex-burlesque dancers and a nonbinary herbalist.”
  • “Yes, the West Elm Outlet in Dawsonville is a spiritual experience. Don’t forget to sage your finds.”

I wanted a place where being deeply local and deeply spiritual wasn’t a contradiction — it was the assignment.

What You’ll Find Here

✨ ATL deep dives — from the bougie brunch spots to the cracked sidewalk murals that deserve their own Wikipedia pages.

✨ Witchy things — moon phases, rituals, spells, and stories from the astral. Don’t be surprised if spirit guides pop up mid-blog.

✨ Real-life diaries — personal posts, loud thoughts, and the kind of writing you feel in your chest.

✨ Local legends + small biz shoutouts — I’ll be talking to the people making shit happen in this city. From potters to poets to pastors who don’t judge.

✨ Where to go when your vibe is off — healing spots, reiki rooms, thrift finds, cemeteries to cry in, parks to recharge in.

If Atlanta Had a Voice, It Would Sound Like This

It would sound like someone snapping gum at a bus stop while telling you about their Saturn return. It would sound like laughter echoing down Edgewood at 2am. It would sound like that moment in a gospel song when everyone starts crying — even the people who don’t believe.

It would sound a little like me.

So if you’re here, I hope you stay a while. Bring your energy. Bring your opinions. Bring your crystals. Bring your cousin who just got out of a situationship and needs a good meal and a better tarot reading.

This is just the beginning.
